Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Statement

1. Our Commitment

Elizabeth Neal Coaching LLC, doing business as The Sacred Return, is committed to making elizabethnealcoaching.com and all associated programs, digital products, and content accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We review and improve our practices continuously and welcome feedback from anyone who encounters a barrier.

2. Conformance Status

Our target standard is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the globally recognized benchmark for web accessibility and the standard the U.S. Department of Justice applies in ADA enforcement actions and settlements against private businesses.

Partially ConformantTarget: WCAG 2.1 AA

Partially conformant means some content does not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known gaps are listed in Section 4. We are actively remediating them.

Platform notice: This Website is hosted on Kajabi. Some elements — including checkout pages, community features, and third-party embeds — are controlled by Kajabi's infrastructure and are not fully within our ability to modify. We apply best practices within our control, report barriers to Kajabi directly, and monitor their accessibility roadmap.

4. Known Limitations

We are actively remediating the following known gaps. If you need immediate access to any content affected by these limitations, contact us and we will provide an accessible alternative promptly.

  • Video — captions: Some existing recordings do not yet have closed captions. All new video receives captions at production; existing recordings are being captioned on a rolling schedule.
  • Video — audio descriptions: Some videos lack audio descriptions for blind or low-vision users. We are incorporating audio descriptions into new production going forward.
  • Audio — transcripts: Some audio content does not yet have a written transcript. Transcripts are being added to new releases and retroactively to existing content.
  • PDF and downloadable documents: Some workbooks and guides are not fully tagged for screen readers. New documents are produced accessibly; existing documents are being remediated. Contact us for an accessible version of any specific document.
  • Third-party embeds: Embedded tools from third-party platforms may not meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We will provide content through alternative means upon request.
  • Kajabi platform elements: Certain Kajabi templates, checkout flows, and community pages are outside our direct control and may not fully conform. We have reported known barriers to Kajabi. Contact us if a platform element prevents you from accessing something and we will find a solution.
  • Legacy content: Older content published before our accessibility review may contain unidentified barriers. We are conducting a rolling audit and remediating issues as found.

5. What We Do

For all new content and ongoing site work, we:

  • Add closed captions to all new video and transcripts to all new audio at the time of production
  • Write descriptive alt text for all informational images and mark decorative images as presentational
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast (minimum 4.5:1 for body text; 3:1 for large text)
  • Use a logical heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) for screen reader navigation
  • Ensure all buttons, links, and forms are fully keyboard-navigable with visible focus indicators
  • Label all form fields clearly and provide accessible error messages
  • Write descriptive link text that makes sense out of context
  • Produce downloadable documents with proper tagging, reading order, and alt text
  • Avoid content that flashes more than three times per second
  • Respect the prefers-reduced-motion browser setting where within our control
  • Test new pages with screen reader software before publication

We do not use accessibility overlay widgets as a substitute for genuine WCAG conformance. Overlays do not fix underlying code and offer no reliable legal protection.

6. Assistive Technology Compatibility

We aim for compatibility with: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), and TalkBack (Android) screen readers; keyboard-only navigation; browser zoom up to 200%; Windows High Contrast and macOS Increased Contrast modes; Dragon NaturallySpeaking and platform voice control tools. Compatibility with Kajabi-controlled elements may vary. If you experience difficulty with any assistive technology, please contact us.

7. Contact Us — Report a Barrier or Request Help
